4 months today

Reece is 4 months today. She's doubled her birth weight and can hold her head up. She's nursing and I'm getting ready to start her on cereal. Can't believe how fast this is going.

Easter Morning

Easter was one of my favorites as I remember mom dressing us in new outfits, going to church and the rest of the family coming to a big dinner. I also remember coloring eggs with mom, waking up early to see dad hiding them (sorry dad) and the anticipation of making that first big bite into a chocolate bunny! YUM!! While those days are gone, I intended to carry on the tradition. So...we went to church and while I did not plan the matching outfits, I thought it was cute the way it turned out. Pete found something in his closet to match. We ate brunch on Main Street and later cooked a special dinner. It was a GREAT EASTER.

Purina Farms

I decided to brave the crowds and take the kids to Purina Farms. One of our first big outings since Reece was born and I was flying solo. It was a bit crazy with all the people and Reece was overwelmed but we still managed to have fun. Chase was soooo excited to see the Easter Bunny and he loved playing in the hayloft with the tunnels.

Happy St. Patty's Day!

Today we went to Amy L's house for a St. Patty's themed playdate. GREEN was everywhere even down to the snacks everyone brought. Amy had lots of party wear. Here are some of the pics. A fun day despite the rain.

He's 4!

Chase is 4!! Can you believe it? I can't believe how fast the time flies. In many ways it's so exciting to see them grow and advance but apart of me just wants to hold on to him and never let go. He's growing too fast!! Happy Birthday Baby! I couldn't be more proud.

It was a fun day! After dinner before running off to go to the bathroom he yells...."thanks mom and dad for making my birthday so great!". One of our friends calls and wishes him happy birthday. Afterwards he says..."that was so nice of them to call...I was thinking wow he's really growing up...ha-ha. I'll have to post the pics of him in his policeman costume that he raced to put on after opening it. It didn't come with pants so it's just him walking around with policeman attire from the undies up. So funny!

Joash is here!

Amanda had her baby last night. It's a boy! I can't believe my sister is a grandmother and I'm a great aunt. How funny. Our kiddos are only 3 weeks apart. He weight 9pd 5 oz. It's so nice to have babies in our family again. Anyway, just had to post ... I'm a proud Great Aunt! Here is an updated family picture. How cute!
